Bloodbabies Returns in 2010

The spectacular smash written and directed by academy director Hilary Taitt makes a eagerly awaited return to the stage in 2010.  The show takes an insightful look into why so many of our youth are being killed in gang related acts of violence.  The show which is choreographed by academy heads Minnz and Gamez, keeps it real on all levels by exploring the ever-growing myths surrounding this spiralling epidemic.

This show takes you on a journey of nostalgia as it looks back at how our parent's generation seemed to get it so right.  Then it takes a dark step into the reality of where we are today.  Asking the inevitable question "Where did we the current generation get it so wrong ?".

Through dance, hip-hop, music and motion-graphics the show depicts the contributing reasons as to why our nation is falling prey to the perils pf youth on youth violence.  Bloodbabies challenges the debt that society has and will continue to pay, until we as individuals decide to instigate the change that is needed within our families, our homes, our schools and our communties.  As it leaves the question which echoes in the audience's ears .... "How many more lives ?".
