See Taitt Academy tutors Rhimes and Teneisha in the Zoonation hit 'Into The Hoods'.  Rhimes treads the boards once again as Rap-On-Zel and Teneisha revisits her old part as 'Spinderella.  If you want to see urban theatre delivered at it's ultimate best, them people it really doesn't get much better than this little gem.  Just visit the Zoonation website for more information on performance dates and times.

Four of our students from Taitt Academy have made it into the urban smash hit 'Piped Piper'.  Elicia Martin, Aston Joshua, Penny Richards and Adele Addo, will be starring in the show which hits the Barbican over the festive season.  Taitt Students will join Academy Heads Minnz and Kofi, for a one month run of the Boy Blue Entertainment show.  Well done guys, we can't wait to see you all drop it like it's hot and show everyone that Taitt students have the real flavour and funk !!!

Since the birth of Taitt Academy five years ago, we have had the pleasure of welcoming through our doors some of the most innovative choreographers on the UK urban dance scene today.  High-profile choreographers are often invited to the academy to conduct Masterclasses for our youth and adult students.  It's a great way for our students to gain insight into many different genres of street dance.  Please see below just some of the dance icons that have graced our studios to date:

• Jeffrey Daniel - Choreographer to the late music icon Michael Jackson.  He was the creator of the 'backslide' renamed by Jackson as the 'Moonwalk' and creator of 'The Lean' in the music video Smooth Criminal.  Jeffrey is conducting a Masterclass at the academy on November 9th December.
• Kenrick 'H20' Sandy - founder and director of Boyblue Entertainment and choreographer of the ground-breaking 'Piped Piper'.
• Marlon 'Swoosh' Wallen - Director and founder of dance giants 'Flawless' and finalist in the 2009 series of 'Britain's Got Talent'
• Anthony 'A.D' Duncan - One tenth of world championship winners 'Flawless'.
• Nathan 'Neo' Gordon - Member of 'Flawless' and also director and founder of dance troupe 'Flo-Orgaphy'.
• Kofi 'Klick' Mingo - Breakdancing, Locking and Popping Championship winner and also feature dancer for 'Boy Blue'.
• Daniel 'D7' Martin - Director of Re:Birth dance company.
• Kendra 'KRO' Horsburgh - Choreographer and core member of 'Birdgang'.
• Chloe 'Shawty' Bortz - Choreographer and member of 'Boy Blue'.

New choreographers will be coming to the academy in 2010 conducting Masterclasses, so watch this space for more details.
