Gamez is a phenomenal master of movement who has many strings to his bow. Not only just an amazing dancer and choreographer within the urban dance industry but also a highly accomplished actor. Gamez has had numerous roles in both T.V and film to date. Credits include ‘Take my heart’, ’Earthquake’ and ’Casualty’ to name but a few.

As a Dancer Gamez started his love of Urban Street Dance with East End Troupe ‘Boy Blue’. There under the watchful eye of industry Guru Kenrick Sandy, he carefully started to craft his skill and love for Hip-Hop and Urban dance movement. His extensive training and performance history at ’Boy Blue’ then enabled Gamez to move on and dance for the dance company ’Shadows in the Mist’. The rise from here meant that there was no stopping this individual.

Next came the prestigious act of dancing as part of the award winning dance Troupe ’Plague’. Winners of the U.K Street Dance championships for two years in a row and then the phenomenal accomplishment of becoming world championship winners in 2005. As a choreographer Gamez has worked with some of the industry giants within the U.K urban music scene. More recently Gamez’s love of dance has enabled him to choreograph videos for artists such as Lady Sovereign and Shiesty.

Recent credits include professional dancer within the highly acclaimed urban Hip-Hop theatre show ’Pied Piper’. Only the cream of the U.K urban Dance industry were selected to perform as part of this innovative piece of urban theatre. Directed by industry legend Ultz and choreographed by Kenrick Sandy, this extraordinary take on the classic fairytale, is unparalleled.

As if there would be any time left within this individuals hectic schedule, however Gamez has just finished a degree in Media and Cultural Theory. He is also the Artistic Director and founder of the urban dance company ‘Ill Kidz’. His diverse flair and teaching style, make his classes at the academy a sure hit with all who attend. Trust me doing this individuals class is NO GAME, just pain and pure hard sweat !!! This guy takes dancing to the limits and will not only push you physically but mentally too. It has made Gamez the natural choice to head up the Taitt Academy under 16’s Division.
