Crazy, sexy, cool !!! All words you would associate with this fly individual. Mini has been a resident choreographer at the Academy for over three years. Her style is hardcore street, with a sassy girlie flava. When it comes to leading female dancers and choreographers within the U.K Hip-Hop dance scene, trust us when we say it really does not get any better than this !!!

Mini started dancing at the age of three in many genres of movement including Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap and Modern. After discovering a passion for Street dance and Hip-Hop early on in her career, Mini’s hunger for excellence has led her down many exciting and exhilarating avenues. Mini has over the years had the pleasure of training and working with some of the U.K masters of dance. However her blueprint and firm foundation in Hip-Hop was laid firmly by one of the U.K’s leading ambassadors of urban movement Kendrick ’H20’ Sandy. Here with the founder and artistic director of ‘Boy Blue Entertainment’ Mini was able to learn her craft in Hip-Hop and urban Street dance well. So much so Mini danced as part of the number one ‘Boy Blue’ dance troupe ‘Kronic’.

After six years with ’Boy Blue Entertainment’ the next step was dancing with world award winning dance troupe ’Plague’. The only dance troupe to win the U.K street dance championships two years in a row. Her love of dance then led to the birth of her own dance company called ’Identity’. An all female dance crew with a sassy, fly and very different delivery of street dance. This was a dance crew unlike any other. Identity stood out from the crowds with their distinct and creative image and style, setting trends for others to follow.

Most recent credits have included dancing as part of the cast in the urban fairytale ’Into the Hoods’ directed and choreographed by Zoonation founder Kate Prince. Originally performed at ’Sadler’s Wells’ and then The Edinburgh Festival, this adaptation set a president that was unlike any other. Also a featured dancer in the smash-hit and Olivier award-winning urban show ‘Pied Piper’ from Boy Blue Entertainment.

At present Mini is pursuing many personal goals still within the industry and is also dancing as part of the exciting dance company Dance 2XS U.K. This is an international dance company renown throughout the world dance scene for its very unique delivery on Hip-Hop dance. Her vast experience to date within the U.K dance scene and her own personal flava, makes her classes here at the academy an absolute must !!!
